Yoooo Dragons!
It’s been just about a month since the last update and I wanted to share what’s happened since the last one. First and foremost, Lucas has completed the text of the game and it’s been to Sarah for editing and back. Which means it’s currently on my digital desk and I am thinking through some possible changes – should experience be called Hoard Points or should it change to Dragon Points? Some real final, final details. This final look will be wrapped up soon and the book will go to Emily for layout this month.
We are still sorting out details of the dice and the paper dragons. Those production decisions have to be made before we can open up the late pledge and pre-order options. Hold on a bit longer – you haven’t missed it.
Also, a few days ago, Lucas, Lilly and myself recorded an episode of the Legendary Bucket podcast where we each got to talk about working on Precious Things and then Lucas led us through creating a Flight of dragons. That episode should be out in a few more weeks, so go follow that show, or look out for announcements here and on the Wet Ink socials. It was a very fun conversation.
Lastly, for this time, I realize there wasn’t an image in the last post, so I made this collage of a bunch of the dragons Lilly did for the card deck. So many little guys!

Progress Report!

Hey everyone! Whew! It's been a whirlwind since the end of this campaign. We've had the team working hard to keep things moving, while tying up loose ends on other projects too. The great news is Precious Things is moving along at a blistering pace.
Lilly has wrapped up all the dragon art and it looks awesome. That means we've been able to move forward on getting the card deck all laid out and ready for early print submission. That is in the works right now. Emily is going to start working on laying out the manuscript as soon as soon as the final editing meeting takes place, so she should have it in hand in about two weeks.
Once she's done, we'll get the PDF copy reviewed and uploaded to DriveThruRPG so we can send it out to all backers, and then she'll put the finishing touches on the print version so we can submit that one.
We've been in discussions with Lilly about that paper Dragons, so we'll let you know about those once we have something nailed down and finalized. Our plans are still in the works, but we hope to have something for you soon.
And finally, we'll be using BackerKit as our Pledge Management platform. If you've backed one of our projects in the past, that shouldn't come as a surprise. We should have those out this week. One thing we'll be doing is including some add-ons of other Wet Ink Games products too, in case there are some things in our catalog you want to pickup. Be on the look out.
DRAGON DICE!!!

Hey all! We have just under 36 hours left on the campaign, and we are THRILLED with how this is going.
To keep the excitement up and to give you all enough time, we want to let you all know that we're UNLOCKING the Dragon Dice add-on stretch goal a little early. We make dice for all of our +One games. Sure, you can play them with any standard six-sided dice, but thematic dice just make everything more fun, right? (Or is that just me...wait...am I a dice-hoarding dragon!?!)
While we don't have an image of the set yet, you can see what we've done for a few of our other games below. Precious Things will be a little different in that there will be dice for each of the 4 main types, and then 2 general Precious Things dice. They'll be in clamshell packaging with backercard.
IN ORDER TO GET THESE DICE you will need to modify your pledge and select the $15 add-on. Please note that these will be available in retail, and via the pledge manager, so you won't miss out, HOWEVER doing so now helps us reach other potential goals.

Hey everyone! With Lucas' stretch goal unlocked, he has a few ideas he's been tossing around and we want to know what YOU think he should work on. Here are the options. You can vote using the new poll feature Kickstarter implemented.
- An ancient ceramic pot shatters into 7 pieces as it's delivered to your museum home, uncaging the howling ghost trapped inside. Can you gather all seven pieces before the spirit tears the museum to shreds? (Present day)
- The new lighthouse on Stephen's Island would be a perfect lair, except for one thing: that darn cat. Can you slay that capricious tiger before it kills every last endangered species on this half-mile rock? (Age of Sail)
- The diner where your Flight lairs is always one bad day away from foreclosure. What can you do to help the owner keep her dream business alive, while keeping your cozy, bean-roasting home safe? (Noir)
- Mr. Bennet has recently acquired the new pride of his library: a treatise on flower language you recognize as a genuine, if coded, spell book. How will you stop him from unwittingly casting a magic spell he has no hope of controlling? (Regency)
NEW ADVENTURE!!!

We've hit the first stretch goal which means a second adventure for your flight of dragons will be available to all backers! Lucas has been kicking around ideas, and we know whatever he lands on will be another gem.
As we approach the end of the campaign this Saturday, we'll approach other stretch goals, including the potential inclusion of a dice add-on. We tend to do special dice for all our +One games, either at launch, or once a game has the support we think can justify the expense. Precious Things is no exception, and we have a bunch of ideas out with our manufacturer to test the feasibility. The thing to note here is IF we reach that stretch goal, it will be an add-on to your current pledge, so if you want to pick them up, you'll have to adjust your pledge (which will help us reach other goals) or add them on the pledge manager after the fact. Fingers crossed!
