WOW! We still have over a week to go but we're so close to unlocking another adventure by the awesome creator of Precious Things, Lucas Zellers. I have no doubt that we'll make it and more! You all have been so good about spreading the word of Precious Things, and have been very complimentary about the project so far, including the adorable art of Lilly Higgs. Just the other day we got this comment on one of our posts, and we can't echo this sentiment loudly enough.
During this funding period, both Lilly and Brandon have had birthdays and seeing the support you all provide is the best gift we could possibly get.
SURPRISE DRAGONS!!!
Lilly has been working on a little side project and we'll have more info about these and how to get them coming soon, but for now, we want to show off these adorable paper dragons.

Hello Folks,
We are just about there! We crossed the line earlier today, because I got an email about it. But right now, as I type, the system shows only $25 left to go. This forwards and backwards movement happens during a campaign. It’s just part of the process. All I can say is what I always say; thank you for your support and please keep sharing this project!
I have something else for you today. Emily has started to experiment with a look for layout. This is a first draft, but you can see the way she is working to give the game a “modern fairly tale” look.
If you want to see another Lucas-written and Emily-designed project, you can check out Glatisant, their Arthurian card-based duo game of one knight hunting the questing beast.
And speaking of other projects, have you heard about Ballad Hunters? It’s written by our friend Tristan Zimmerman. You play curious folklorists sent by the British Crown to find out what is going on with the folk ballads. Something unnatural is making the lyrics come to life, forcing people caught up in the songs to act out the odd events, broken loves, and murders described in the ballads. The words of the song become a plan for the adventure you must navigate. The rules are an ultra-simple version of Pelgrane’s Gumshoe system, so it’s friendly to experienced and new players. Check it out if any of that sounds neat to you!

Hey all you dragon fans!
We are doing well with this campaign. Thank you so much for your support! As we continue to move along, I'd love to hear if any of you have checked out the quickstart yet? Please let us know what you think of the rules so far. Lucas has things all figured out, but it's not too late to make adjustments if we've missed something.
I also want to direct your attention to today's Wet Ink Wednesday. It's an interview with the artist Lilly Higgs. So many of you have responded so positively to her dragon art, I'm happy to let you hear from Lilly about what got her into art and what she was thinking about while working on the project.

This interview has also been added to the main Kickstarter page. From there, you can also see interviews with game designer Lucas and graphic designer Emily.
Thank you all for your support so far and keep sharing the project!

Thank you all sooooo much for your support of Precious Things! We're over halfway towards our goal and we're working on some fun things in the background to share throughout the campaign. We love the excitement that we've seen around the project, but one of the coolest notifications we received is below from another artist we know:
I don't know about you, but when it comes to coffee, I'm like a food-motivated puppy. I told the creative team that I'll match that, so next time we have the team together, we'll be well caffeinated. If you feel inspired to do the same, we're not going to argue with you.
Now I just have to make a tiny dragon who collects coffee mugs...
Please keep spreading the word about the project, and don't forget to secure your hoard.
